Our goals with Howywood Kindergarten are to help busy teachers

STOP re-inventing the wheel,   win back precious time, and find simple, memorable ways to create a bright, beautiful classroom that you & your students will love.

We'd love to connect over social media (we're on Instagram and Tiktok @HowywoodKate) so we can get to know you more!   Here are a few fun facts to help you get to know us: 

1️⃣ We met when we were 15 ... Jon was the superstar wide receiver  and Kate was the football team manager (a HS girl's dream job, right?!  oh my, LOL).  2 proms, 3 kids, 4 moves, and over 25 years later... here we are!

2️⃣ Katie has been teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade since 2OO1 and sees school as her mission field/ big opportunity to make a difference.  Some days can be so challenging (right?), but she still genuinely loves it.  

3️⃣Running is our family's sport!  Jon is a personal trainer and two-time mile ultra race finisher (what?!) and Katie's favorite distance is more like a 1O-miler. We’re also big into OrangeTheory,️, basketball, and lifting weights. 

4️⃣Howywood Kindergarten was born in 2O11 when Katie thought it'd be fun to share a few of her tried and true classroom creations on TPT... fast forward a few years and over 5O,OOO resources sold, we decided it was finallllly time to launch our own shop!  Jon came on board to help with the business side of things (we joke that he puts the “we” in HOWYWOOD🤣) and here we are!
